Ho Hum Support for Scripts |
Microsoft should either recommend that scripts not be used for custom actions or talk with some virus checker vendors to do something about the "Norton's Malicious Script Detection" issue.
Perhaps Windows Installer needs its own script language (possibly "Kixtart") or at least a separate engine. Too many security experts are recomending that Windows Scripting Host be disabled.
If you can't script then much more needs to be bolted into the Windows Installer "base".
