Unnamed Parameters

An unnamed parameter is one which unlike mandatory or optional parameters doesn't have a name supplied.

These types of parameters are positional, the first unnamed parameter is internally give a name of "#1", the second "#2" etc. Almost all MAKEMSI commands which take unnamed parameters only take one.

The following shows a unnamed parameters being supplied:

<$SomeMacro "An unnamed value">
<$SomeMacro 'An unnamed value'>

Please read the "parameter quoting" section for more information about how parameters can be quoted however if the quote character is not a single or double quote then the value must be preceeded by an equal sign as demonstrated here:

<$SomeMacro =^An unnamed value^>
<$SomeMacro =!An unnamed value!>
