SuperOrca - MSI Editor

This editor is (currently?) free and doesn't lock the msi like "ORCA" does. It looks promising and its homepage is "http://www.pantaray.com/msi_super_orca.htmlThis external link was OK when tested at 3 Nov 2008

HTML page dated Sat, 04 Oct 2008 05:57:49 GMT".

It allows you to see numeric columns in decimal, hexadecimal as well as binary.

It has an msi compare function which in version 1.0.0.0 also shows 2 "pairs" of lines for many unchanged properties so take it with a grain of salt...

It doesn't handle transforms at all and has limited merge options.

It doesn't automatically detect "ORCA" ice validation suites but you can specify alternative suites.
