Services Applet

The services applet lets you see most of the properties of a service. You can also start and stop the service. Sometimes you will wish to use registry editors such as "REGEDIT" to examine more details (or to change values during diagnosis).

if you get any service issues during installation or uninstallation of your MSI close this applet before trying "retry". The applet appears to be a bit buggy and locks out the registry (or some other required resource).

You may also wish to see the "Service Tips" section.

This is a standard utility installed by windows and to start it choose "StartSettingsControl PanelAdministrative ToolsServices" (or execute "services.msc"). It looks like:
